Yes, there are many campaigns and NGO’s started or established for animals in Karnataka. Some examples are the ear tag campaign in Karnataka for domestic animals, PFA (people for animals) is an NGO established to provide intensive care and rehabilitation to animals, Akhila Karnataka Pranidaya Sangh (AKPDS) an awareness campaign started to provide shelter, food , and medical services to all animals in need, KAWAK ( Karuna animal welfare association of Karnataka) and many more. Yes, We do believe that these interactive campaigns serve their purpose and that there should be more in a developing country like India. Fortunately the Wildlife Protection Act was established in 1972 with the aim to effectively protect the wildlife of this country and to control poaching, smuggling and illegal trade in wildlife.
