Most of us have started planning our goals and initiatives for the new year.
Each year mother earth seems to give up on us, so perhaps we should have a "go green" initiative this year.
Here are a few small initiatives you can do and they won't just sit in your notebook
Reduce physical waste - well we can't just stop using plastic, can we?. So we need to reduce using them. Take your own cloth bag to the market if you are buying anything
Amplify your voice - Don’t underestimate the power of speaking up for environmental causes. As an individual, you already have considerable power to organize around a cause or to start a petition
Wrap up the paper waste - we all love celebrating and love to wrap up the gifts in colourful paper. What's the after use of them? depending on who receives your gift, some might keep it, while some might throw it away. Wrap your gifts in paper so that even if you do throw it away, it would not harm nature.
pick up litter - we do have people for that, but if you see litter you should pick it up.
